Avaya IP Office Release 7 Norstar and
BCM Phone Feature Comparison Matrix

Wondering whether your favorite Nortel Norstar or BCM phone feature will continue to work when migrating from your old Norstar or BCM to the Avaya IP Office Release 7?
The Avaya IP Office Release 7 introduced the capability of supporting the old Nortel M and T series phones, and as expected, many customers will be migrating from the older Norstar and BCM phone systems and bringing some or all of their sets over to the Avaya IP Office.

The functionality of the features in some cases might be different when migrating from the BCM to the IP Office, and the matrix below will help highlight what feature change, if any, might have occurred.

It's also important to note that this only lists whichBCM Featurescodes are supported on BST Series Phones connected to an IP Office 7.0. If a feature is listed as not supported "e;N"e;, it does not mean that the feature or similar feature does not exist on IP Office. It means simply that the feature can not be used through a Feature Code, but the feature could be used through an IP Office Short Code or button.
