Step by Step Guide

To make an outgoing call:


  1. Click the hyperlink beside the telephone number.
  2. Call the customer and have a conversation.
  3. When the call is over, it opens up a call logging window.
  4. Enter text on Call Result and Comments.
  5. Click OK and you're done.

To take an incoming call:


  1. Salesforce will automatically pop the contact record based on caller ID number.
  2. You can answer the call directly from within Salesforce, carry on your conversation with the caller.
  3. Once the call is over and you terminate the call, the Salesforce call logging window opens.
  4. You can then take your notes.
  5. Click OK and you're done.
