Step by Step Guide

To set-up a conference call in Avaya IP Office:


  1. You're on a call with one person and you decided you want to add someone else in
  2. Press the conference button which you will see at the bottom of the screen; one of the two options there.
  3. Dial the number of the person you want to add in the call. This could be an outside number or an internal extension number.
  4. Once that person answers the call, then all you have to do is let them know you're going to join them in the conference. Press Conference again and now everyone is in a conference. You can talk to them all at the same time.
  5. Now, while you're in a conference, you also have options here for details on the phone. And if you press that, it actually shows you everyone who's in the conference. And you have additional options there where you can scroll down and actually mute people from the conference so they can't talk. And if you wanted to, you can actually hit Drop as well to disconnect them from the conference.
